Cubs Team Roster

Our Westside Whitfield Athletic Association encourages teams to play together as teammates for as long as they choose. This is not mandatory, however. Remaining together as a team builds team spirit, camaraderie, teaches players to play together as a team, and builds life-long friendships. Nothing lasts (in this world)  but friendship.

Parents should understand, however, that to remain on the Cubs, THEY MUST SPECIFY EITHER THE COACHES NAME OR THE TEAM NAME ON THE GREEN REGISTRATION CARD WHICH IS FILLED OUT AT THE BEGINNING OF EACH SEASON.

If the coach or team name is not written in at the top of the card, the player will be placed in a blind draft. If the coach decides not to coach the next season, players may be placed in a blind draft, as well.  A blind draft means all unspecified green cards are placed face down and each coach pulls registration cards blindly.  We understand that sometimes a player would prefer to play with their classmates and buddies, but it seems as if each year a parent forgets to specify a team name and the player ends up on a different team. We were very fortunate to get Ethan Neal back this year through the luck of the draw.
