Blake is our best hitter. He hits in the #2 spot because we count on him to move the lead-off batter forward. He is a contact hitter and can hit any pitched ball. Blake is a 10 year old coach's dream player. He is our best bunter, rarely ever strikes out, and always puts the ball in play.

As a fielder, he rarely misses ground balls. Once he gets the ball, he knows where it should go and is always aware of the game situation. If he has any weaknesses, it is the fact that the coaches would like for him to become a coach on the field and let other players know what they should do with the ball when they get it. We would like for him to tell other players that "the play is at second base", since other players seem to forget. Since Blake always "knows", we would like for him to make sure everyone else "knows".
